About The Position

Purpose: To provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children of the Lakeside Church during special events and groups. Your role is essential in allowing parents to worship and connect, knowing that their children are well-cared for.

Requirements

Be familiar with the systems, procedures and policies and carry them out within the classroom.
Serve on the Lakeside Kids Team for a minimum of 6 months.
Be familiar with the Planning Center: Services in order to be scheduled and communicate your availability.

Self-led, high-capacity individual, comfortable working independently without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Kids Staff to ensure physical environment meets the Lakeside Church standards of excellence and safety.
Confirm your schedule in PCO Services by the 16th of the previous month.
Remain at the door connecting with Parents for check-in and check-out.
Ensure all children have a security tag.
Ensure the physical environment of their classroom meets the Lakeside Church standards.
Foster a positive relationship with parents.
Maintain an atmosphere of open communication.
Lead and build relationships with children.
Maintain quality control for the room.
Childcare Workers must be available for at least half of the events listed below: Small groups on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday Nights (6-8pm) MomCo. on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (9am-12pm) Student Nights on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Wednesday’s (6-9pm) Additional Events as needed
