About The Position

You will serve as a critical advocate within the Child Support Division, ensuring children in our community receive the financial stability they deserve. This is not just "paperwork"—it is about navigating complex family dynamics, enforcing court orders, and managing the administrative heartbeat of the Prosecutor's Office.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1–3 years in a professional office environment (legal, social work, or administrative background is a plus).
  • Intermediate to Expert proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel). You must be comfortable learning proprietary case management software quickly.
  • The ability to write clear, professional reports and de-escalate tense conversations with the public.
  • You can handle stressful situations and emotional topics with objectivity and professionalism.
  • You understand the sensitivity of family law and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • You possess a valid driver's license and are insured to travel occasionally for training or county business.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage a caseload to establish, modify, and enforce child support orders
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, employers, and state agencies, resolving inquiries with empathy and accuracy.
  • Prepare and process critical judicial documents, ensuring all case files are court-ready and compliant with state regulations.
  • Maintain impeccable data records in the statewide system
