SCOPE OF ROLE: Provides direct services to Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center 24 hr program. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide strength based, Person centered, trauma-informed, Social determinants of health assessments of children’s biological, educational, psychological and social needs. Engage is collateral visits with health professionals, school personnel, and is able to make necessary referrals for mental health, daycare, and summer camps. Coordinate activities designed to meet the individual needs of children (e.g., infant stimulation, toddler training, teen programs, after school programming, parent/child interactions, etc.) Attends staff meetings, in-serving training, case conferences, and weekly clinical meetings. Provide weekly and monthly reports Provide crisis intervention to children and parents. Support families in their child care efforts, both in structured and unstructured Complete all progress notes, treatment planning, written assessments, and other required documentation. Help the child/ family get ready for tests or procedures (Medical/Mental Health). Help the child develop coping skills and manage distractions. Provide behavioral Interventions (e.g., reward good behavior; prevent negative behavior). Provide family support; support for brothers and sisters. Provide “Play” that fits your child’s level of understanding. Therapeutic play (e.g., role-playing and storytelling) Provide support for grief and loss. Additional duties as assigned
