About The Position

Butterfly Effects' mission is to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families by hiring passionate, caring people to serve children and families affected by autism. The company is seeking dedicated experienced Behavior Technicians to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care. This role involves collaborating with families to execute ABA based behavior intervention plans. Butterfly Effects, established in 2005, has positively impacted over 15,000 families through its family-centric applied behavior analysis (ABA) approach, aiming to enhance the lives of children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder and foster a more joyous life.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A genuine love for working with children
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families
• Experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician required
• Interest in ongoing development
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills like communication, social interaction, and self-care
• Collaborate with families to execute ABA based behavior intervention plans
