About The Position

casework in a timely manner in compliance with agency policy and procedure including group notes, administrative notes, writing objectives, intake, case notes, progress and discharge reports and other timely status reports as requested by the supervisor. Keeps records of individual children, including daily observation and information about activities, meals served, medication, parent-child interaction, referrals, and other daily activities. Communicates with clients and their children, listens, observes, and provides guidance using a variety of child development techniques to provide a multi-phase growth process. Provide parenting education and support services for clients and their children. Organizes and participates in recreational activities such as games, outings, celebrations, or any activity which will have a positive effect on the child. Coordinates and supervises children and their activities according to Minimum Standards of Care, Chapter 746. Organize, and with organization polices and procedures. Assist mother with school and day care registration, coordinate transportation to and from school/daycare. Teaches relevant knowledge about living skills, drugs, their effects, social attitudes and laws about drug use in an age school appropriateness manner and using Evidence Base Curriculums provided by agency. Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concept. Inspects and keeps facility free from unauthorized people, drugs weapons or other contraband materials. Maintains childcare area clean, and reports problems and unsafe conditions to supervisor Recommends orders and is responsible for supplies and equipment needed for the educational program. Store and sanitize toys and play equipment to ensure order in activity area. Attends organizational training and continues to acquire Continuing Education (CE) hours.
