About The Position

High school graduates and college students are invited to apply for an 8-week, full-time Intern Teacher position at Bright Horizons to develop skills in early childhood education. Interns will work in an early childhood classroom under the guidance of an experienced early childhood educator, practicing and refining their skills. The internship offers opportunities to network and collaborate with peers nationwide and learn from early childhood curriculum experts.

Requirements

  • Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED before start of internship (June 15, 2026) is required
  • This internship requires full-time availability, Monday through Friday, from June 15 through August 7, 2026

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Actively participate in all classroom activities and complete required training
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
