About The Position

The Menlo School Child Care Center serves the children of Menlo School employees, from infancy to five years old. A caring and experienced staff offers a play-based curriculum in a vibrant facility on our beautiful School campus. We are seeking a warm, collaborative teacher to work in our Child Care Center. Our Center has small ratios in a 10-month program (August-June). Our hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. This is a full-time, non-exempt, temporary position that will cover for an employee's leave of absence from April 20 through June 15, 2026. There may be a possibility for additional work available in the Fall of 2026. Our philosophy focuses on the whole child approach, in which we assist in developing the cognitive, physical, emotional, social and language skills in each child in a play-based environment. We see each child as an individual and strive to enable each to reach his or her full potential. Our teachers create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn. They partner and communicate with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children, and they cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
