The individual must be able to adapt to menu changes and adhere to meal and snack schedules. The position involves creating home-style, nutritional meal plans within the school's menu and budget, while also complying with state and federal requirements. Key aspects include preparing and distributing meals/snacks, ensuring health and safety by following daily menus and regulations (USDA, licensing, health department), maintaining inventory of food and supplies, and assisting in classrooms as an Assistant Teacher/Floater when needed.
