About The Position

Requirements

Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Teaching Statement and Statement of Faith
Must be at least 18 years of age
Have a High School Diploma or GED
Flexible to assist in classrooms as needed
Excellent communication and people skills
Able to work with a variety of students of ages
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Ability to attend job-related activities during non-work hours (compensated)
Willingness to meet CPR/Current First Aid and other regulatory requirements
Willingness to obtain CDA coursework
Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement

Nice To Haves

Prefer a minimum one-year certification or two years of experience in Early Childhood Education

Responsibilities

Implement predetermined lesson plan and manage the classroom while the teacher is on break
Maintain a nurturing, Christian environment in the classroom
Facilitate activities that meet the group and individual needs of students
Promote educational progression of students
