The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a Chief to lead the Thoracic Service to a position of clinical, research and academic distinction, while furthering the goals and mission of Roswell Park. This position will establish and implement an overall vision and specific strategic clinical and research goals for the Thoracic service, which provides diagnostic services and translational research support to an outstanding clinical and scientific faculty in a collegial and cooperative environment. A wide variety of interesting oncologic cases, both in-house and in our consultation practice, will be encountered. The successful candidate will interact with our highly subspecialized clinical teams. Development of an independent research program is encouraged and will be supported financially and by allowing protected time. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine has a robust infrastructure for supporting clinical and translational investigations.
