About The Position

Kerma Games is redefining the online casino experience by blending cutting-edge slot and live casino game development with a modern UI and high-profile celebrity partnerships. The company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead its engineering organization as it scales. As CTO, this individual will own the technical vision and be accountable for building the systems, team, and culture that power the next generation of casino entertainment. The CTO will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure technology strategy drives the business forward.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate a clear technical vision and multi-year roadmap aligned with Kerma Games' growth and product ambitions
• Lead, grow, and retain a high-performing engineering organization — hiring strong managers and engineers, building career paths, and fostering a culture of ownership and craft
• Own the architecture of our gaming platform, making smart trade-offs between velocity, reliability, and scale — including RNG systems, live casino infrastructure, and real-time game engines
• Partner with Product and Design to deliver the polished, modern UI experiences that set Kerma Games apart in a competitive market
• Support the technical integration of celebrity partnership activations, ensuring branded experiences are seamlessly built into our platform
• Represent technology in executive and board conversations, translating complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders
• Establish engineering best practices across security, compliance, and uptime — critical in a regulated gaming environment
• Identify and manage technical risk proactively, including vendor decisions, licensing considerations, and platform security
