The Chief Quality Officer has quality management responsibility for the hospital and all associated departments, including clinics. The Chief Quality Officer, which is director-equivalent, will foster crossfunctional and system-wide relationships beyond the department of quality and patient safety to be successful in a highly multidisciplinary and complex role. Using standards of care, the Chief Quality Officer will work collaboratively with lead quality teams to ensure a safe clinical environment.
