About The Position

We are looking for a Chief Plant Engineer to provide direct supervision of the Plant Operations Director, assist in the overall operation of the department providing optimum and cost-effective operations of all equipment, buildings, and grounds and other hospital properties. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. · You will provide management and ownership of all construction projects under the direction of the Director of Facilities Management. · You will comply with hospital standards and corporate policy and procedures, for managing supplies and equipment, for promoting teamwork with staff, peers, physicians, and hospital administration. · You will direct and supervise construction planning and development; lead corporate initiatives for facility improvements, and make appropriate recommendations. · You will coordinate with department management to ensure the facility complies with Joint Commission and all other regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in hospital building maintenance and construction management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC and Building Automation System experience highly preferred.
  • Boiler, HVAC/Refrigeration/ Master Electrician license/certifications preferred.
