About The Position

We are looking for a Chief Plant Engineer to provide direct supervision of the Plant Operations Director, assist in the overall operation of the department providing optimum and cost-effective operations of all equipment, buildings, and grounds and other hospital properties. Our team is amazing, we consider ourselves a family who work hard to support each other and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. · You will provide management and ownership of all construction projects under the direction of the Director of Facilities Management. · You will comply with hospital standards and corporate policy and procedures, for managing supplies and equipment, for promoting teamwork with staff, peers, physicians, and hospital administration. · You will direct and supervise construction planning and development; lead corporate initiatives for facility improvements, and make appropriate recommendations. · You will coordinate with department management to ensure the facility complies with Joint Commission and all other regulatory standards.

Requirements

10-15 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in hospital building maintenance and construction management.
Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

HVAC and Building Automation System experience highly preferred.
Boiler, HVAC/Refrigeration/ Master Electrician license/certifications preferred.
