This position is a member of the Management Team reporting directly to the General Manager. The COO will partner with all members of Leadership to efficiently oversee the Operations teams. Currently, this position will be responsible for directing the Operations Manager, who oversees the following teams: Electric Line Workers, Fiber, Contract, and Meter. This position is also responsible for directing the Utility Infrastructure Manager, the Meter Manager, the Electrical Engineering Manager, and the Fleet. Job Summary Incumbents direct, coordinate, and manage the activities and operations of the distribution and transmission facilities within the Electric teams. Responsibilities may include establishing business strategies, coordinating cross-functional projects and programs, establishing and monitoring budgets, and allocating resources across all activities of lower-level positions within Operations. Responsibilities also include upholding and enforcing the highest safety standards, as outlined in the American Public Power Association (APPA) Safety Manual and any other applicable safety policies, rules, and regulations.
