About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a proven track record of successfully leading and scaling multi-location restaurant franchise operations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in franchise compliance, operational leadership, financial management, and team development across multiple markets. This executive will work closely with ownership and senior leadership to drive operational performance, profitability, brand standards, and long-term expansion strategy.

Requirements

  • Senior operational leadership experience in a multi-unit restaurant franchise system.
  • Proven experience overseeing 10+ locations with full P&L responsibility.
  • Deep knowledge of franchise systems, compliance standards, and corporate partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in improving EBITDA and operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with new store openings, remodels, and market expansion.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in QSR, fast casual, or casual dining franchise systems.
  • Experience working within nationally recognized brands (e.g., Burger King, Dunkin', or similar franchise organizations).
  • Multi-state operational oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple franchise locations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to franchisor standards, policies, and brand guidelines.
  • Drive operational consistency, food quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead P&L management across all locations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve margins, control costs, and increase revenue.
  • Implement KPI dashboards and performance accountability systems.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop regional managers and store-level leadership.
  • Build succession plans and leadership pipelines.
  • Foster a high-performance culture centered on accountability and guest experience.
  • Serve as primary liaison with franchisor corporate teams.
  • Lead franchise audits, inspections, and compliance initiatives.
  • Partner on new store openings and market expansion.
  • Identify expansion opportunities and oversee new unit development.
  • Lead operational due diligence for acquisitions.
  • Standardize systems and processes to support scale.
