Support Administration - Chief Operating Officer
About The Position
We are searching for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Home of the Innocents. We’re a mission-driven organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and families through high-quality, trauma-informed care across behavioral health, complex care, and pharmacy services. We’re seeking an experienced leader to propel program operations and help advance our strategic vision. About the Role Reporting to the President & CEO, the COO will oversee all program operations, translating strategy into effective day-to-day execution. This role partners closely with the Executive Team to drive performance, quality, growth, and organizational impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or nonprofit settings
- Strong operational leadership with a commitment to trauma-informed care and equity
Responsibilities
- Lead execution of strategic and annual operating plans
- Ensure program quality, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee senior program leaders and workforce planning in partnership with HR
- Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, sustainability, and operational efficiency
- Assess and support new services, partnerships, and growth initiatives
- Serve as Executive Sponsor to the Program Services Committee and report to leadership and the Board
