The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end game development process across various platforms, from initiation to completion, for all of Tripwire’s internal 1st party games, externally developed 2nd party games managed internally, and 3rd party games under the Tripwire Presents publishing label. This role involves driving portfolio-level planning and execution, balancing resources, timelines, and budgets across multiple concurrent projects, and ensuring teams are appropriately staffed. The COO will also analyze and monitor projects for operational risks, lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, game quality, and staff quality of life, and report on operational metrics. Collaboration with Senior Leadership is key for milestone approvals, guidance, and feedback to Creative/Game Directors, as well as defining and executing organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring plans. The COO will also work with the CAO to foster communication and maintain high employee morale, provide strategic leadership, and mentor reporting staff and directors.
