Fred Hutch Cancer Center is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) to lead and oversee the integration of information technology into the clinical and medical domains. Reporting directly to the CIO with a dotted line to the CMO, the CMIO will work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and clinical operations to drive the adoption and effective use of health IT solutions that improve patient care, enhance clinical workflows, and support the research mission of Fred Hutch. The CMIO will collaborate with clinicians, researchers, IT teams, and administrative leaders to define, implement, and optimize technology strategies that enable innovation and enhance the quality, efficiency, and safety of care delivery. This role is crucial in ensuring that the clinical and research teams have the tools they need to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while advancing medical research and improving operational effectiveness.
