About The Position

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) serves as a strategic business partner and member of the Senior Management Team, responsible for leading the development and execution of enterprise-wide technology strategy. This role demands a visionary technology leader who can drive digital optimization, enhance operational efficiency, ensure cybersecurity resilience, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across all banking channels. The CIO will oversee all aspects of Information Technology, Information Security, Physical Security, and related vendor relationships while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Industry certifications, such as, but not limited to, CISSP, CRISC, Cisco, Microsoft, or other related are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Demands a visionary technology leader who can drive digital optimization, enhance operational efficiency, ensure cybersecurity resilience, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across all banking channels.
  • Oversees all aspects of Information Technology, Information Security, Physical Security, and related vendor relationships while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for Alpine Bank’s core, technology architecture, and data infrastructure.
  • Responsible for FFIEC guidance, third-party vendor risk management, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Works with regulators and audit committee.
  • Collaborates with business unit leaders to solve banking issues.
  • Oversees and collaborates with infrastructure and application teams.
  • Translates technology to board-level strategies.
  • Confers with board members, bank executive officers and staff to discuss issues, coordinate activities, or resolve problems.
  • Direct supervision of Information Technology and Information Security senior staff. Ultimately accountable for all technology functions in the organization.

  • Starting rate of Pay is from $240,000.00 to $300,000.00 annually, depending on experience.
