About The Position

The Chief HR Officer (CHRO) is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. This role drives the development and execution of HR strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting employee engagement. The CHRO leads initiatives related to talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. Additionally, the CHRO ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations while championing diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the company. Ultimately, the CHRO serves as a trusted advisor to the executive team, shaping organizational culture and workforce planning to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in human resources leadership roles, including senior management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence at the executive level and manage cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or an MBA.
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
  • Experience working in a large, complex, or multi-site organization.
  • Track record of successfully leading diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
  • Familiarity with HR technology platforms and data analytics to drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the company’s business goals and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Lead talent management processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, mitigating risk and maintaining ethical standards.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and experiences.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Manage HR department operations, including budgeting, staffing, and technology implementation to optimize efficiency.
  • Serve as a key liaison between employees and management, addressing employee relations issues and promoting open communication.
