Responsible for the creation of new partnerships to increase membership growth with integrated delivery systems, payors, new businesses and new care delivery systems in accordance with the organization’s vision, strategy, and direction. Represents JenCare in public forums and leverages connections within the industry to support our overall growth strategy.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Sales & Marketing, Public Relations, Economics or a similar field required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis
  • A minimum of 15 years’ of progressive work experience in Strategic Planning, Sales, Marketing, Strategic Business Development or similar roles required
  • A minimum of 8 years of managerial/leadership experience requires

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, MHA or other advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in healthcare administration or consulting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identifies new partnerships with integrated delivery systems that will bring new members and provide investment dollars to launch the partnership.
  • Identifies new deal opportunities with payors that will bring new members and provide investment dollars.
  • Explores and identifies potential special/unique partnerships that drive growth such as national or regional organizations that support our patient base (e.g. AARP) and new organizations outside of our traditional partners.
  • Supports the execution of the growth strategy and new partnerships by working collaboratively with the other executive team members.
  • Dotted line, but not direct, responsibility over patient acquisition teams such as the sales function or practice acquisition function.
  • Constructs deals/agreements and oversees the team that owns the contracting details.
  • Leverages established connections to open growth opportunities and engage external business and industry experts to learn and influence growth partners, constantly remaining alert and forward-thinking about opportunities and risks in the industry.
  • Represents JenCare in public forums to build mutually beneficial relationships between the organization and external partners.
  • Proactively develops initiatives and programs surrounding healthcare reform to ensure quality and financial measures are achieved.
  • Assesses whether strategic growth initiatives at all levels of the organization are in line with the company’s standards and objectives.
  • Ensures that appropriate metrics are in place to measure performance and progress towards strategic growth goals on the number and quality of new partnerships.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
