About The Position

The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations across a 5-rooftop automotive group. This role will drive financial strategy, ensure operational efficiency, and build scalable processes to support continued growth.

Requirements

5+ years of CFO/Corporate Controller experience within automotive dealerships
Strong understanding of dealership operations, including:
Financial statements and consolidations
Floor plan financing and cash flow management
Dealership KPIs (PVR, PPD, CIT, etc.)
Proven leadership experience managing multi-location teams
Experience with dealership management systems

Responsibilities

Lead the overall financial strategy for the organization across all rooftops
Partner with ownership and executive leadership to drive profitability and growth
Provide actionable insights on performance, forecasting, and long-term planning
Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation across all locations
Ensure accuracy of financial statements and compliance with applicable standards
Manage audits, tax filings, and relationships with external advisors
Monitor key dealership metrics including PVR, products per deal, and expense control
Oversee cash flow, working capital, and floor plan management
Ensure strong internal controls and compliance across all stores
Lead and develop accounting teams across all rooftops
Build structure, accountability, and scalable processes within the accounting function
Mentor Controllers and accounting staff to support long-term growth
Evaluate and enhance existing financial systems, reporting, and workflows
Drive standardization across rooftops to improve efficiency and visibility
