The Company head office is based in Dallas, TX and our plant located just outside Vancouver, BC is a pivotal operation within a mission-driven organization that values innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.

As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will be instrumental in steering financial strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting key business decisions to drive profitability. This role reports directly to the CEO and involves regular interaction with the Board of Directors and investors.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive, ideally in manufacturing and construction-related industries.
• Strong knowledge of multi-currency accounting and financial management.
• Demonstrated success in driving financial performance and operational excellence.
• Experience managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and operational efficiency goals.
• Implement strong financial controls and performance metrics to monitor and improve financial results.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements across manufacturing and operational processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements.
• Oversee Information Technology systems and personnel; identify gaps and lead efforts to implement improved processes that generate actionable business intelligence.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Evaluate potential investments, acquisitions, and partnerships to expand market presence and strengthen competitive advantage.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Serve as a key point of contact for the Board of Directors and private equity investors, providing timely and accurate financial updates.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to foster trust and transparency.
• Prepare presentations and reports for board meetings and investor communications.
• Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with banking partners and investors to secure financing and optimize capital structure.
• Manage capital allocation strategies and investment decisions to support growth initiatives and innovation.
• Manage all financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, and provide insightful analysis of results and KPIs to drive business decisions.
• Champion continuous improvement and the use of Nexii’s ERP system to drive efficiency and more accurate job costing.
• Analyze pricing strategies and product profitability to maximize margins and enhance overall financial performance.
• Deliver accurate and actionable rolling 13-week cash flow reports, providing the management team with clear insights into the company’s cash position at all times.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to optimize resource allocation and support decision-making.
