About The Position

As Ben & Jerry’s Chief Financial Officer, you’ll be the financial heartbeat of Ben & Jerry’s — balancing growth, profit, and purpose to ensure we never compromise one scoop of our mission. You’ll join the Global Steering Team, report directly to the CEO, and shape the future of an iconic brand that challenges business-as-usual. You will lead and inspire a global team, which will include: Finance Analyst for the Americas Controller team for Scoop Shops & Ben & Jerry’s Foundation Finance Lead for Europe, Middle East, Turkey & Asia Strategy and Transformation Lead Together, you’ll ensure our numbers tell the story of both financial performance and social impact.

Requirements

  • A deep passion for Ben & Jerry’s mission: advancing peace, justice, and equity through the power of business.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership, ideally in global consumer goods, social enterprise, or purpose-led organizations.
  • Expertise across strategic planning, financial operations, commercial finance, and global market management.
  • A knack for connecting complex financial narratives to our social and environmental impact stories.
  • Inclusive leadership style and strong mentoring skills; able to empower, challenge, and inspire a diverse, international team.
  • Comfort navigating a hybrid environment — balancing autonomy as an independent values-led business with collaboration within the broader The Magnum Company ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO for Global Band Jerry’s, COO for the Americas and the Global Leadership Team to balance financial growth, sustainability, and social mission in every strategic decision.
  • Business international expansion: Help design a repeatable model that suits the different regions (creation of archetypes).
  • Robust financial modelling (business cases) to ensure international expansion has a profitable path aligned with total business.
  • Financial control of current franchising network and long-term planning of franchising expansion.
  • Develop robust success KPI’s to ensure franchising network is both compliant with basic controls + improves current franchising model performance.
  • Full financial management of the B&J foundation fund.
  • Strengthen current reporting including risk management and compliance.
  • Overseeing investment opportunities, manage spending, audit compliance ensuring legal and tax adherence.
  • Co-leading the long-term strategy aligned with global and BU IBP processes.
  • Long term planning could include rollout of future technologies and alignment with countries for capacity planning and capex investment.
  • Global Overheads and A&P management including people and non-people costs.
  • Drive performance and insight through data, analytics, and smart investment, supporting long-term business resilience.
  • Develop finance team as mission ambassadors, integrating equity, inclusion, and global citizenship into how we manage money and measure success.
  • Business case development and P&L management for new social impact ventures and go-to-market initiatives, collaborating across functions to drive growth and joy.
