About The Position

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer & Head of Finance to own the entire financial function end-to-end for a high-growth enterprise technology company delivering mission-critical cryptographic security platforms, including Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), Key Management, PKI, and data protection services, across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. This is a hands-on, operator-level CFO role, ideal for a leader who is equally comfortable: Driving financial strategy and board-level reporting, and Personally owning accounting accuracy, revenue recognition, audits, and controls The right candidate brings deep enterprise technology experience, strong technical fluency, and the operational discipline required to scale a sophisticated business with a lean finance team.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including: CFO, Head of Finance, or equivalent roles
  • Strong background in: Enterprise technology, infrastructure, security, or cloud businesses Hardware + SaaS + services revenue models
  • Deep working knowledge of: GAAP and ASC 606 Enterprise contract structures
  • Proven ability to operate hands-on in smaller or scaling finance teams
  • Executive-level communication and board presence

Responsibilities

  • Act as a core member of the executive team and trusted partner to the CEO
  • Lead financial strategy, long-range planning, and capital allocation
  • Deliver clear, credible financial narratives to the Board and executive stakeholders
  • Own all finance and accounting functions, including: Accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and audit
  • Monthly, quarterly, and annual close
  • Financial statements, forecasting, and cash management
  • Establish scalable financial processes while maintaining speed and rigor
  • Own revenue recognition and financial treatment across: Hardware Software licenses and subscriptions Cloud and managed services
  • Partner closely with Sales, Legal, and Operations on: Enterprise deal structuring Pricing, margin analysis, and contract review Multi-year and multi-element agreements
  • Build and maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready processes
  • Oversee external audits, tax filings, and financial compliance
  • Ensure financial rigor in a business serving regulated enterprise customers
  • Own financial systems (ERP, billing, reporting) and drive automation
  • Build and mentor a lean, high-performing finance team
