About The Position

Greeley County Health Services (GCHS) in Tribune, Kansas, is now accepting applications for Chief Executive Officer (CEO). GCHS primarily serves both Greeley and Wallace Counties in western Kansas (both counties are on the Colorado border) and is actively expanding its regional impact through collaboration and partnerships. The Role & Scope The CEO is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational success of the Greeley County Health Services “system” which includes a 25-bed rural Critical Access Hospital (CAH), Long Term Care (LTC) center, and two Rural Health Clinics (RHC’s). Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO ensures high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, financial stability, and strong community relationships. The CEO directly oversees the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), and Chief Operating Officer (COO), and works collaboratively with medical staff and department leaders to advance the organization’s mission and vision. The successful candidate will be expected to build on this strong foundation and keep the momentum going. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
Minimum 3-5 years progressive healthcare leadership experience
Rural/Critical Access Hospital experience strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience reporting to a governing board
fully relocate to the area
