Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
Proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering or facilities management field
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of skilled engineers and technicians
Oversee the maintenance and repair of the hotel's physical infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operations
Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and provide prompt resolution to guest concerns
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
Identify opportunities for energy conservation and implement sustainable practices
Manage the engineering budget, including procurement of equipment and supplies
Stay updated with the latest technology and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
