About The Position

Midas Hospitality is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee our maintenance department at the Springhill Suites hotel located in Lenexa, KS. This person will oversee all aspects of the hotel maintenance department including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and preventive maintenance program.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of facilities experience
• Experience in a management position

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose problems or repair machines.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Maintains a Preventative Maintenance Program within the rooms to ensure they are being kept up to standards on a quarterly basis and the proper documentation is being recorded.
• Responds to maintenance requests received from Front Desk or Housekeeping within 15 minutes (occupied rooms).
• Pool chemical testing
