About The Position

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHIEF ENGINEER: Our club in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking to hire a full-time Chief Engineer. You are actively involved in all phases of the club’s repairs and maintenance programs. You carry out, supervise, and coordinate all repairs and general maintenance needed for equipment, furniture, masonry and building structures to maintain the club property in optimal condition and appearance. As a department leader, you are responsible for all aspects of management, training, and development for all staff. You also serve as a role model for the team to follow. You develop the skills and talents of your staff, promote teamwork and encourage personal growth. Taking pride in your work areas, you are conscientious about staff adhering to all safety rules and regulations. You enjoy having our beautiful grounds and facilities as a backdrop for your work and get great satisfaction out of helping our members and their guests have a great club experience! WORK SCHEDULE: This full-time management position requires working variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. This position offers a competitive salary range from $105,000 to 125,000 annually. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five+ years of maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting
  • Two+ years of supervisory experience
  • Extensive experience in managing repairs and maintenance programs is required with multiple factors will be taken into consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Post secondary vocational training in electrical engineering, HVAC, or refrigeration preferred
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and other engineering-related software programs preferred
  • EPA certification preferred
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred
