Thomas Jefferson University seeks a collaborative and visionary physician leader to serve as the next Division Director (also referred to as Division Chief) of Infectious Diseases at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, located on the University’s 13-acre campus in Center City Philadelphia. Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Medicine of Sidney Kimmel Medical College, the Chief of Infectious Diseases will lead and expand the excellence in education, research and clinical care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Overseeing the Department’s academic ID group of 14 full-time clinical faculty, with a complement of 4 fellows, the Chief will oversee ID care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience and Methodist Hospital while sharing expertise and guidance across Jefferson Health. The Role of the Division Chief The Chief leads the research, clinical care, and education programs of the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine. The Chief reports to the Chair of Medicine. The specific duties are as follows.
