Job Description Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking an Adult Cardiac Surgeon to join our expanding academic cardiac surgery program at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position offers the opportunity to join a high-volume, quality-driven practice that provides the full spectrum of adult cardiothoracic surgery, including: Advanced valve repair and replacement (including Ross procedure) Robotic and minimally invasive cardiac surgery Complex coronary revascularization (on-pump and off-pump) Aortic surgery and transcatheter valve repair/replacement (TAVR) Heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support (LVAD, destination therapy) Clinical Environment The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery provides services at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Abington Hospital , with an active transplant and mechanical support program. Outpatient practice is centered at the Jefferson Heart Institute , home to comprehensive cardiology services including risk reduction, advanced heart failure, transplant, and structural heart programs.
