Simulmedia is hiring a Chief Commercial Officer to lead sales, marketing, and commercial strategy at a defining moment for television, and for the company that has led TV’s evolution longer than anyone else. The Opportunity TV is no longer split between “linear” and “streaming.” It is one converged, high-impact medium, and Simulmedia is the pioneer and market leader in making that convergence work for advertisers. Eighteen years ago, Simulmedia invented data-driven, audience-based TV advertising. Today, our proprietary, patented data science and software platform enables brands to plan, activate, and optimize audiences seamlessly across streaming, connected TV, cable, and broadcast, delivering measurable business outcomes with certainty, efficiency, and speed. As the industry moves toward accountability, performance, and convergence, Simulmedia is uniquely positioned as the system of record for outcome-driven TV. More than 100 of the world’s most sophisticated brands, including Disney, Electrolux, Kings Hawaiian, Experian, Choice Hotels, Zicam, and Wayfair, trust Simulmedia to make TV perform like a modern, results-driven marketing channel. Based in New York City, the Chief Commercial Officer will own the full commercial engine and help shape the next phase of Simulmedia’s growth. Reporting directly to Founder and CEO Dave Morgan, this role will work in close partnership with the CFO and the Chief Product and Technology Officer to align revenue strategy with product innovation, data science, technology, and financial discipline. This is a complex, enterprise, client-directed sale. Success requires deep fluency in streaming and linear TV, data, insights, technology, and measurement, plus the ability to translate sophisticated capabilities into clear, compelling value for CMOs, CEOs, and analytically driven marketing teams. Simulmedia’s commercial team is known for high IQs, special EQs, curiosity, collaboration, and grit. They work hard, think deeply, and have fun winning together. The CCO must be a leader who sets the bar by example, owning strategy, closing key deals, working in the field, and coaching sellers in real time. This role is for a builder and a doer, a startup-style executive who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves the craft of selling, and is energized by teaching and developing young, hungry talent while scaling a category-defining business.
