ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring that work is performed following established procedures for quality and productivity, within prescribed budget and meets all required safety codes and policies. Review and approve work orders; obtain and evaluate subcontractors; create preventative maintenance plans; QA/QC inspections for all building systems evaluations; communication and coordination with the Manager(s); and necessary reporting. Responsible for the supervision of Building Technicians including recruiting/hiring, supervision, recognition, disciplinary actions, salary administration, performance appraisals and terminations. Responsible for the development, evaluation, and training of assigned staff to ensure high skill levels and technical competence. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform the duties of a Building Technician IV as required. Provide operating and capital expenditure recommendations to the management team. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
