The Chief of Autonomous Haulage Programs is responsible for the end‑to‑end leadership of the autonomous haulage program at the site, including operational integration, system performance, and long‑term program sustainability. This role governs the autonomous operating system, including people, technology, processes, and partners, ensuring the system operates safely, reliably, and in alignment with mine plans and the corporate autonomous strategy. As the Chief of Autonomous Haulage Programs, you provide disciplined program leadership to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient autonomous operations through governance, operating standards, and performance oversight. In this role, you lead autonomous safety and risk management, including AOZ controls, critical risk verification, incident investigation, learning, and continuous improvement in autonomous and mixed‑traffic environments. You will drive cross‑functional integration across Mine Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Dispatch, Technology/OEM, and Planning to align readiness, availability, and production targets. You establish and monitor KPIs for safety, availability, utilization, reliability, and productivity, using data to identify risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities. In this role, you lead, coach, and develop supervisors and technical leaders supporting autonomous haulage operations; ensure role clarity, competency development, and performance accountability across the autonomous organization. You will lead program evolution and change management for system upgrades and operating model changes aligned with corporate autonomous strategy, while performing other duties as requested.
