This position is responsible for the processing of all chickens, including grading, vaccination, and toe trimming. Essential duties involve placing hatching eggs in properly labeled buggies, processing chicks (grading, vaccinating using a robot, weighing, and toe trimming), preparing chick boxes, counting by-products, and operating a macerator. Additional duties may include operating high-pressure and regular water hoses, making and cutting vitamin gel, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The jobsite is a biosecure environment requiring on-site showering and changing of clothing and footwear before entry. Team members must agree to avoid avian species and comply with Company Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Guidelines. Training will be provided for all safety procedures, which must be followed.
