About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for Chestertown Member Service Staff and we are excited to have you join our team! This positions maintains a supportive, positive atmosphere, that welcomes and respects all individuals. The Membership Representative responds to member and guest needs and promotes memberships and programs. We’re looking for someone who is: Warm, welcoming, and friendly. Customer service-focused with a positive attitude. Fluent with computers and comfortable learning new systems.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Previous customer service, sales or related experience.
- CPR and First Aid, child abuse prevention training, Y orientation certifications required within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
