About The Position
GENERAL DESCRIPTION The Cherokee Speaker Home Health Provider collects information regarding the services and needs of first language speakers and ensures they receive available services. This position maintains a daily log of requests and makes home visits to provide basic medical assistance to citizens.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Six (6) months of experience in a related field.
- Advance Cherokee Speaker proficiency required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships
- Excellent customer service skills
- Analytical mindset & problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong HIPPA knowledge
- Ability to hold strict confidentiality
- Basic math & computer skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating.
- Possess or ability to obtain a certified nursing assistant (CNA) certificate within one (1) year of hire and maintain throughout employment.
- The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
