About The Position

The Ohio State University at Marion seeks a semester lecturer to teach CHEM 1110 Elementary Chemistry in Autumn 2025. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.

Teaching: Develop and deliver in-person courses, both lectures and labs. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.

Requirements

• Master’s degree required in Chemistry or related area

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
• PH.D. in Chemistry or related area.
