About The Position

The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a 100% FTE, 9/12 lecturer to teach Elementary and General Chemistry courses in the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assigning and grading assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, labs, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues. May participate in professional development.

Requirements

• PH.D. in Chemistry or related area
• Experience teaching Elementary and/or General Chemistry at the post-secondary level at a regional campus

Responsibilities
