About The Position

The technical team designs products that empower engineers with exceptional design freedom while advancing more sustainable solutions across virtually every composite end use. The Chemist – Pigment Dispersions will be based in Collierville, Tennessee. The main responsibilities are product development of pigment and thickening formulations for composites. Examples of end uses are construction, automotive, recreation and infrastructure. The position is hands on with formulating, compounding and molding. The candidate should be mechanically inclined as well as have strong knowledge of chemistry. The individual will support the product leader pigment dispersions in design of experiments, formula development, preparing samples with hands on laboratory work, maintaining equipment, and authoring technical reports. Organization and project management skills are important. Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

B.S./B.A. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Composites Engineering, Materials Science, or Polymer Science.
