Requirements

• Must be a BS/MS Chemistry student.
• Applicants should be within two years of graduation.
• Demonstrated communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to perform routine chemistry calculations.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Ability to quickly shift focus to accommodate changing production goals.

Nice To Haves

• Specialization in Analytical chemistry preferred.
• Experience-based knowledge of chemical principles, chemical manufacturing processes, and chemical plant operations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing on batches of finished products and manufacturing components.
• Enter batch testing results into the Laboratory Information Management System.
• Provide technical support during the development of new testing methods and procedures.
• Assist manufacturing staff with production issues through batch testing and lab batch preparation.
• Prepare QA documents such as Certificates of Analysis or Certificates of Compliance.
• Perform routine calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine preparation and certification of standardized reagents.
• Perform routine Laboratory cleaning.
