Your Role: The Chemist I role is an individual contributor within the QC Analytical team, responsible for supporting the release of raw materials and finished products, as well as contributing to method qualifications (including verifications, transfers, and validations) and stability studies. This role assists with chromatographic testing (HPLC/GC) with minimal supervision and independently conduct spectroscopic and wet chemistry testing. This position also participates in method qualification activities and supports laboratory investigations as needed. This is a second shift position, anticipated from 2:00P - 11:00P, Monday to Friday. Your Profile: Responsibilities- Execute QC chemistry testing using recognized compendial methods and standards (e.g., USP, EP, and other applicable pharmacopeias) to support routine manufacturing activities, method development, and stability studies. Support protocol design for method qualification and contribute to the authoring of analytical procedures. Perform testing in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements within a GMP/GDP environment. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide training on assigned techniques and instrumentation. Maintain laboratory areas in a clean, organized, and compliant state. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of quality systems, FDA regulations, and compendial requirements.
Experience executing method qualifications in a GMP environment.
Broad analytical chemistry experience using recognized compendial methods and standards (e.g., USP, EP, and other applicable pharmacopeias), including chromatography, spectroscopy, and wet chemistry techniques.
Foundational understanding of HPLC/GC principles with the ability to support and troubleshoot as needed.
Competency with standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel).
Ability to learn and operate complex laboratory software systems (e.g., LIMS, Empower 3).
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make and support sound technical decisions.
Collaborative team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
B.S Chemistry
4+ years of experience in a Chemistry Laboratory
2+ years of Experience in a GMP QC Laboratory
1+ years Pharmaceutical Experience
Availability to work 2nd Shift - 2:00P - 11:00P Monday to Friday
