About The Position

The Opportunity: In this role, you will report to Supervisor, Onsite Services and will work closely with the Avantor’s Advanced Laboratory Services of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel – and our customers – to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. What we’re looking for · Education: High School Diploma or GED required · Experience: 2+ years' experience in material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service · Collaboration Tool: Knowledge of Information intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications: Conform to all company and customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues, security clearances. Solid understanding and experience in either shipping, inventory, or purchasing. Excellent Customer Service Skills; displays a professional can do attitude. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Travel may be required from building to building. How you will thrive and create an impact Avantor’s Advanced Laboratory Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will: Perform daily review of chemical inventory and timely resolution of chemical inventory, planning and supply chain issues. Reviews and reconciles chemical inventory in all labs annually. Reconciles the chemical materials of each lab and ensures accuracy of chemicals in database. Performs and reconciles routine cycle counts. Communicates with suppliers as the need arises for proof of delivery. Reviews and reconciles expiry date issues, duplicate shipments, shipment overages, wrong good received, and no charge replacements. Works with material purchasing to optimize inventory investment. Requirements
