Requirements

  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • EXPERIENCE: 3+ years' of related experience; 2 years in factory and maintenance work; 2 years of technical experience in a Factory Maintenance Service environment
  • LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Driver's License
  • TRAVEL: 25%
  • Must have electrical background with sufficient troubleshooting skills with industrial equipment and any mechanical knowledge/experience is a bonus
  • Submit to and satisfactorily complete pre-employment background, medical, alcohol, and drug screening
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Able and willing to work a rotating shift schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (if applicable)
  • Able and willing to work in inclement weather, climb structures, perform work at heights, and in enclosed spaces
  • Able and willing to work both independently in remote locations and in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the equipment at this facility.
  • Will unload and store raw materials, run reaction equipment, load out product, manage all required paperwork and reports for inventory and shipping, troubleshoot equipment problems and perform repairs, as necessary.
  • Any employee at this facility may specialize in one or more phases of the operation but must be capable of performing all essential duties.
  • Offloads incoming acid into storage tanks and offloads incoming rock to storage area
  • Operates all process equipment related to manufacture of liquid calcium chloride
  • Loads trucks and rail cars with liquid product
  • Completes all paperwork associated with acceptance of raw materials and shipment of product
  • Manages inventory of raw materials and product
  • Operates front-end loader and forklift as needed
  • Trouble shoots equipment malfunctions and initiates repairs to mechanical and electrical systems as required
  • Installs piping, valves, instruments, and equipment as needed
  • Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment and instrumentation
  • Responsible for driving company vehicle to check on offsite tanks
  • Other duties as assigned
