You will aid in energetic material characterization efforts designed to understand small-scale explosive hazards. You'll facilitate meetings and assist working groups. Requirements

5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, research, or lab setting for chemistry
Experience with manufacturing processes of chemicals, including inspection, maintenance, and storage
Knowledge of thermal and mechanical properties of materials
Knowledge of hazardous and non-hazardous waste generation and waste disposal policies and procedures
Knowledge of Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) policies and procedures
Knowledge of the theories, procedures, and analytical techniques necessary to produce reliable reviews, results, and conclusions of chemical process assessment
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Science

Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Plan (RMP)
Master's degree in Chemical Engineering
Professional Engineer License Certification
