About The Position

Sodexo Live! has an opportunity for a Chef/Kitchen Manager to support a large commissary kitchen operation that delivers thousands of ready-to-eat meals to our local clients. Working in the metro Atlanta area with our commissary team, this Chef/Kitchen Manager will oversee the production of all food and grab'n'go items packed for delivery and distribution. Venues and events don't just bring people together, they create exceptional moments and lasting memories. Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services to airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention and conference centers, zoos, museums, and more. Working at one of these locations is exciting and allows you to be part of creating memorable experiences for people.

Requirements

• Supervisory culinary background with the ability to stay current with new culinary trends.
• Excellent mentoring/leadership and communication skills.
• Prior culinary/kitchen management experience within a restaurant, lounge or other hospitality-focused venue.
• Strong coaching skills.
• Passion for food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for menu compliance, cooking, food production, food quality/presentation, safety/sanitation.
• Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented.
• Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards (HACCP).
• Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
• Direct the activities of 10-15 associates.
• Work a schedule of 10AM - 6PM or 9AM - 5PM, including at least one weekend day.
