WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR CHEF DE CUISINE You'll work closely with our executive chef to develop fresh seasonal menus, manage the daily food service operations, and ensure consistency, quality, and safety across all dining areas. You'll lead your team in delivering efficient meal service and train staff as needed to continue elevating and improving our culinary efforts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive culinary experience with a private club, hotel, or upscale restaurant
  • Experience placing food orders, managing inventory, and tracking costs
  • Strong culinary techniques and food knowledge
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds
  • Proven leadership and mentorship skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the executive chef in maintaining high food quality, safety, and presentation standards across all the club's dining outlets
  • Overseeing vital kitchen activities like food purchasing, receiving, and rotating
  • Maintaining an organized and well-stocked food inventory
  • Coordinating prep schedules based on the upcoming day's dining needs
  • Effectively training, supervising, and motivating line cooks and prep cooks
  • Enforcing strict food safety and sanitation standards to ensure the kitchen is always clean, organized, and inspection-ready
  • Assisting with menu creation, culinary programming, and additional duties as needed
