About The Position

O ur Chef de Cuisine @ The Carnegie at Washingtonian Center supervise and plan the preparation of high quality/presentation food to our residents, guests, and associates, to promote an excellent restaurant-style dining atmosphere. Requirements

  • Bring a smile to work every day
  • Be a great team player
  • Be a progressive and creative thinker
  • Be a high school graduate (preferred)
  • Have one to three years of cooking experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of creatively designed menus
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on new dishes which appeal to the residents
  • Assist the Executive Chef in organizing the kitchen and schedule
  • Maintain kitchen and food preparation in a clean and sanitary manner
  • Train and develop new kitchen associates
