What began as a strictly Swiss cheese plant, has expanded until now over 30 varieties of cheeses, and also UHT (Ultra High Temperature) shelf stable milk in a variety of flavors. Description & Responsibilities Receive raw Milk Wash Silo's and keep all equipment clean Perform Antibiotic testing Detailed documentation Perform tasks as assigned by Supervisors Insure milk haulers follow Company rules Insure safety of all in the Receiving bay Must responsible and self-motivated Able to complete tasks with little or no supervision Need to be organized Lift/handle 50lbs. Climb ladders on to milk trucks Responsible for correctly numbering and labeling the cheese blocks Responsible for sanitation in your area with a specific list of duties for cleanliness and sanitation. Conduct specific product checks as required on specific paperwork.. Other assigned tasks as needed. Opportunities to cross train to develop and grow within Gossners.
