About The Position

We're looking for an energetic and positive Cheer, Dance & Tumbling Instructor to join our YMCA team. This is a great opportunity to share your passion for performance and fitness while helping kids gain confidence, coordination, and teamwork skills in a safe, supportive environment. Schedule: Evenings, Saturday morning availability. Teach one, two or all three formats. We will work with your schedule. Salary: $12.00/hr

Requirements

• Experience in cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, or related field.
• Ability to motivate and connect with youth of all ages and skill levels.
• Dependability, creativity, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead age-appropriate classes in cheer, dance, and tumbling.
• Create a fun, structured, and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Teach proper technique, safety, and teamwork.
• Build strong, positive relationships with youth and parents.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe and clean program space.
• Represent the Y's core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
